ROE Effective 09.21.2023
These rules are in no particular order and contain no hierarchy of priority. Exceptions override previously stated rules in specific ways. It is the attacker’s responsibility to prove using screenshots that a hit was legal under ROE if accused of a violation.
🎯 Scopely events may require an override of one or more ROE protections. If points can be scored without breaking ROE rules, ROE applies in full. If the event cannot be scored in without violating one or more rules, only the rules needing to be broken for the event are suspended for the duration of the event.
⚔️ War/KOS between alliances suspends ROE for the involved alliances until the conflict is resolved. Participants can limit the scope of this suspension (e.g. “we’ll leave miners alone”).
🌐 Within Territory space, ROE protections only apply to the owning alliance’s ships.
Don’t Shoot!
🚫 UPC Survey ships while mining (except Znode, where a message must be sent prior to the hit)
🚫 Z-nodes in Territory (unless also OPC)
🚫 Any ships in Token space (“Shooting” includes using the Mantis Sting on ships in token space or similar debuffs)
🚫 Any ships in Swarm Space
🚫 Ships inside Active armadas circles (“Shooting” includes using the Mantis Sting on ships in the Armada or similar debuffs)
Exceptions – these modify the above rules!
⚠️ ALL ships lose protection in a territory during that territory’s Defense/Takeover period.
⚠️ Voyager is the only protected ship in Delta Quadrant Token space.
